I’m feeling lucky

People search for the funniest things.

No seriously. I was checking our site stats today, and all I can think is that folks who found our blog must have done so through Google’s “I’m feeling lucky” feature.

First, the basic searches:

  • ham hocks and latke drops
  • lindsey hock cullinary blog
  • casey brent
  • hamhocksand latke drops
  • hamhocksandlatkedrops twitter
  • http://www.hamhocksandlatkedrops.com/
  • lindsey lieberman blog
  • hamhocks and latke

Now for the fun ones:

  • chambord pitcher
  • “do you ever feel like your cat is judging you” mdk
  • hannah hart glasses
  • why do i have to make dinner
  • tinfoil
  • ham hock cocktail food

Though I must say, it’s kind of flattering to know that people visited our blog while on the hunt for the one and only Hannah Hart of My Drunk Kitchen.

It’s like we’re famous or something!

Thirsty Thursday 2.0

Well hello!

What do you get when you combine a few bottles of wine, a tiny kitchen, and a damn funny lady by the name of Hannah Hart? My Drunk Kitchen, of course!

“Do you ever feel like your cat is judging you?”

I am completely in love with MDK, and you should be too. I mean, what’s not to love? Hart is hilarious, she rocks excellent lesbian hair and glasses, and her sober-to-drunk demeanor is eerily similar to mine: (1) hair goes from well styled to a Beethoven-esque, absentminded professor (but still cute) mess; (2) eyes get squinty; and (3) this is the real key, folks, the glasses come off. It’s pretty bad when you can see better without your glasses than with them.

I want Hannah Hart to be my friend. And then I want to play matchmaker and yenta her off to my friend Jen. They’d be perfect for eachother.

New videos are posted on most Thursdays–it’s like Thirsty Thursday, only cooler because we’re not the ones with the hangover the next day. Bonus: Hart somehow manages to cook a big ol’ funny drunken mess in a rather tiny kitchen. It gives me hope that one day I might actually be able to make use of my tiny kitchen, too.

So now, for your viewing pleasure, this week’s episode of My Drunk Kitchen.
